Apple Introduces New iPad with Retina Display

Wednesday, March 28th, 2012

One of the most publicized features of the new iPad is its new Retina display.  With a resolution of 2048 by 1536, this new display has four times the number of pixels as the original iPad 2 in the same amount of space.  It also has a million more pixels than HDTV. All those pixels are powered by Apple’s new A5X chip and quad-core graphics processing. Despite the increased graphics capabilities, you still get up to 10 hours of battery life per charge. The new iPad also features an improved 5 megapixel camera.

Water Resistant Kindle Case

Friday, April 08th, 2011

This summer, many beachgoers will be toting Kindles and other e-book readers instead of paperback books and magazines. Case Logic has a new sleeve that can protect all those gadgets from sea and sand. Made from thick plastic, this case features a ziplock seal that keeps water out while providing full access and visibility. Besides taking it to the beach, Case Logic recommends using this case at your favorite café to avoid coffee spills.

You’ll find the Case Logic Water Resistant Kindle Sleeve on the Case Logic website for $24.99. If you have an iPad or iPad 2, Case Logic also makes a water-resistant sleeve for tablets.
