Sony Walkman introduces Touch Screen
The first version of the Walkman media player equipped with a touchscreen has been announce by Sony.
The new Walkman model, NW-X1050, will debut in Japan on April 25th and will retail for $400 USD. It will be equipped with 16GB of memory. A more advanced model, the NW-X1060, will hve 32GB of memory and be priced at $500 USD.
These new Walkman players support Wi-Fi, video playback (including YouTube videos) and podcast downloads. Audio file format supported include AAC, MP3 and WMA. Video formats include MPEG-4, H.264 and WMV. The players include EX earphones, which offer integrated noise reduction.
